Please be prepared to answer these questions.

1. What is the sending and receiving facilities?
2. What is the weight of the patient?
3. Are they on oxygen?
   • a. Ventilator?
   • b. How much oxygen?
4. Do you have bed acceptance?
5. What medications are running?
6. Are they on the cardiac monitor?
7. Is the patient stable or not stable?
8. Are there any special considerations that we need to know about?

Limitations when accepting patients for transfer:

• At this time, we cannot accept neonates that are under 10 kilograms.
• We are unable to accept bariatric patients that are over 400 pounds (181 kilograms).
• We will return patients to Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes, but not to private residences.
• We will not respond until the sending facility has obtained room acceptance.
